Job Vacancy (USA): Electrical Engineer

Position: Electrical Engineer

Location: Farmington Hills, MI

Full Time

RESPONSIBILITIES:

Collaborating with team members to meet customer requirements.

Designing electrical systems for Industrial Heat-Treating Equipment in consultation with customers, vendors, contractors, and coworkers.

Ensuring designs comply with industry codes and standards.

Creating electrical schematics using AutoCAD.

Designing and testing electrical systems to ensure quality.

Providing technical support and information to stakeholders.

Assisting PLC Technicians with software development and maintenance.

Preparing quotes based on design requirements.

Supporting system installations, troubleshooting, and inspections.

Training PFS personnel on designed electrical systems.

Complying with federal and state regulations to maintain product and company reputation.

Continuing professional development through workshops, publications, and networking.

Traveling to job sites for inspections and troubleshooting.

Required Education and experience:

Bachelor’s degree in electrical engineering or at least 10 years of related experience.

Proficiency in AutoCAD.

Knowledge of electrical engineering codes.

PLC coding knowledge is a plus, but not required.
