Re7 is seeking an Investment Analyst—an individual who will collaborate directly with the leadership team of the Opportunities Fund. This position provides an opportunity to engage at the forefront of web3 innovation and to significantly influence portfolio decisions and design. This role offers a transparent pathway for advancement, with the potential to transition into a Junior Portfolio Manager position over time.
Responsibilities
- Engaging with established and emerging DeFi, DePIN, and Infrastructure platforms, exploring CT and Discord for new projects and investment prospects for the portfolio managers
- Analyzing the platforms, recording product/investment findings, developing financial models, and presenting capital allocation proposals through investment memoranda
- Compiling market intelligence reports as well as thematic and sector research
- Monitoring market events, updates, or announcements to guide portfolio positioning and risk management
- Interacting with cryptocurrency communities on social media for due diligence and product/UX feedback
- Assisting PMs in formulating portfolio strategies and rebalancing concepts
Requirements
- Practical judgment
- 1-2 years of experience in cryptocurrency research or investment management
- Over 3 years of experience in one or more of the following: Crypto, Computer Science, Traditional Finance, FinTech
- Proficient in conducting fundamental research and handling extensive datasets. Familiarity with SQL and Python is preferred
- Knowledgeable in navigating CT, Discord, Dune Analytics, and contracts on Etherscan to enhance your insights
- Fundamental understanding of data science, mathematics, or computer science
- A pragmatic and rational probabilistic approach to decision-making
- Excellent communication skills and the ability to cultivate and sustain a network of long-term relationships
