“None of these stupid numbers is relative. Concert ticket prices are THROUGH THE FUCKING ROOF these days. So it’s not comparing apples to apples, even for a tour as recent as Sticky and Sweet (15 years ago,)” says one person in the comment.

“That’s what I think too. The same venue a few years ago wouldn’t have grossed as much.. I think as an artist Id be more interested in number of attendees, but I guess that can also be dependent on stage design.”
