MTV’s 2020 Video Music Awards are back with a lineup of awards curated with the coronavirus pandemic in mind.
Ariana Grande and Lady Gaga lead the nominations this year with nine each. Billie Eilish and The Weeknd are close behind, both receiving six nominations. The awards show, based on votes from fans, will air live on Aug. 30 at 8 p.m. ET.
