An insurance claims company has joined the Sentinel and StokeontrentLive’s #IAMOpen campaign to support businesses impacted by the coronavirus lockdown.
Oakleafe Claims Loss Assessors has continued trading in the city by encouraging its Stoke-on-Trent staff to work remotely and from home.
Claims consultant Grant Williams said: “Technology has allowed us to be able to still function as a business with phone calls being directed to our laptops and the use of a bespoke system called Track Pro where we are able to manage our own claims, keep up to date with a company diary as well giving customers access to view their claims real time.
“Site visits have been restricted due to insurers reducing the field staff, however the use of technology, video calling, pictures and file sharing have allowed us to still service our clients.”
The #IAMOpen campaign, which has been launched to support local businesses left counting the cost of lockdown.
